National Innovation Blue Book: The strongest innovation ability in instrument manufacturing, computer industry, etc.

The "National Innovation Blue Book: China Innovation Development Report (2016)", edited by Professor Chen Jin, Director of the Technology Innovation Research Center of Tsinghua University and published by Social Science Literature Press, was released recently.

The Blue Book describes the development of innovation capabilities of my country’s manufacturing industries from 2013 to 2015 from the four aspects of innovation environment, innovation investment, innovation organization, and innovation performance by establishing an indicator system for measuring industrial innovation capabilities and designing innovation indexes.

The Blue Book points out that the innovation capabilities of my country's manufacturing industries have made significant progress in four aspects: innovation environment, innovation investment, innovation organization, and innovation performance.

From the perspective of industry classification, the three industries of instrument and meter manufacturing, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing are the industries with the strongest innovation capabilities, and their leading advantages are obvious.

Railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing R&D expenditures accounted for the proportion of main business income and sales of new products accounted for a slightly higher proportion of total sales revenue than other industries; enterprises with R&D activities in the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry The proportion and sales revenue of new products account for a higher proportion of the total sales revenue; the proportion of R&D personnel in the special equipment manufacturing industry and the number of effective invention patents per 10,000 employees are slightly higher than those in other industries; the sales revenue of new products in the automobile manufacturing industry It accounts for a relatively high proportion of total sales revenue.
